After a 20 year career in the Microchip industry where he held positions as a process development engineer, staff technical manager, business development manager, and director of technology development, Chuck Schneider decided it was time to expand.
So, in 2004, he decided to combine his creative design, organizational and business skills to start a contracting business, and Schneider Development General Contracting, Inc and Phoenician Creative Environments were born.
“I started first with a contracting license to just build residential homes and swimming pools so I could build everything from start to finish. We used the best materials and subcontractors available so that we could produce the highest quality product possible.
We were involved with new custom home construction projects as well as home remodeling. We also did high-end swimming pools and total outdoor landscaping projects throughout Arizona.
We then added a commercial focus to the business, allowing us to do both large and small commercial projects as part of our contracting offering. We also added both Residential and Commercial Solar as an offering until the rebates by the utility companies went away, making it less attractive financially for our Clients."
